The Calaveras County Chamber of Commerce is more than a plaque on the wall. It’s an opportunity to expand your business, to network with other business owners, and managers. This is where you find new customers. We have over 5,000 telephone inquiries each year which are referred to Chamber Members.

• Business Directory — The directory offers a listing of all Chamber members both alphabetically and categorically and offers an opportunity to advertise your business. It is supplied to all members and circulates widely through four counties. The directory is included in new business and relocation packets, and is also available in the Chamber office, at the Visitors Bureau, and the Economic Development Company. It serves as a mini-telephone directory, promoting the goods and services of Chamber members.

• Calaveras County Map — The map is professionally produced and offered for sale to individuals and businesses, and is available at the Chamber office, the Visitors Bureau, and the Economic Development Company. It offers an opportunity to advertise to a wide audience. Members may purchase quantities for resale at a discount.

• Chamber News — Each member receives a paid subscription to the monthly Chamber News. Each issue features a county business, as well as providing a calendar of events, labor laws and legislation affecting small business, and information about community projects. The Chamber News is also presented in PDF format on the Chamber’s web site. The newsletter offers an opportunity to advertise through ads and flyer inserts.

• Websiite — Reach the world! Membership includes a listing in the Business Directory with a link to their web site and email. The site includes advertising opportunites, a calendar, classified ad section, business services, the Chamber News, and much more. An icon is also available so that members may link to the web site. The Calaveras Chamber web site adds credibility to your site and helps with the search engine listings.

Boundary Markers — The Chamber hopes to mark each highway entrance to the county with replicas of ore carts welcoming visitors and residents to the county. Only two are left to be funded. The markers are funded through individual and corporate sponsors.

Capitol Window Display — Each county in California is represented by a window dislay in the State Capitol building. The Calaveras County window is created and maintained by Chamber Directors.
